Mm. That... makes sense, actually. [Marco nods thoughtfully.] Chances are he'd need time to get used to maneuvering a body again... Just having a body would make him more vulnerable, but that would make it even worse.

[All in all, this is more carefully thought-out than he feared. He should probably worry less, huh?]

Alright, I think I get the idea.

You think it would do him some good?

[Marco purses his lips. He's just guessing, but Otto isn't the first to voice a sentiment to that effect.]

I can't discount the possibility. I imagine he's so unused to it he doesn't even feel the need for that sort of interaction...

[But maybe that's the problem. He can see the logic. Then again, it isn't as if Elias is completely shut off from the world either, is it...?]
peccatore: (welp. i guess that's done)

Okay. [He nods again, in acknowledgement - and then one more time, as he tries to find the words for the other big question that presses on his mind.] ... Okay.

[He's sure Otto is aware of what he's about to say, of course, but maybe it still bears mentioning.]

I'm not much of an engineer. Certainly not... I don't... [He sighs.] Fiddleford was the genius in that regard, not me. Software is where I'm more comfortable. Coding.

[So, if he's going to help, what exactly can he do that Otto can't?]

[Safeguards, huh...? Marco offers a lopsided smile.]

Of course. I hope that he wouldn't, but... of course.

[There is, as they've discussed, so much that could go wrong - but Marco still wants to believe Elias himself wouldn't be the problem.

Felfri wasn't him. It wasn't really him.]
