Even so, I hope you know that I would have helped you, had you told me about your plan beforehand. That offer stands for the future, too. For your sake, and for Elias, should it come to that.

I appreciate that, Sir. Making a body like that was something I was familiar with, but the research was harder to collect as a Slime and Shade than I would have liked.
[Which is part of why she outsourced some of that to the twins, but there's no need to be sharing that information.]
A doctor like you should be used to that, though. It would have been really useful.
< Octavius >
I'm a doctor of physics, not a doctor of the human body, but it's true that I'm quite used to hitting the books and compiling the research into comprehensive notes. Sometimes I even do it for fun. 8)
So yes. Should you have need of something like that in the future, don't hesitate to ask.
< R.Gardner >
You have a doctorate. You are a doctor.
[Let's be real, it's mostly about how she wants to keep calling him "Dr. Otto", not the fact that it's technically accurate.]
You teach at school, right?
< Octavius >
That's right. Only a few nights a week, but it is something I do on the side. Why?
< R.Gardner >
I have not had the time as of late, but I believe that my attendance shall become more regular. I look forward to learning from you.
< Octavius >
Are you the sort of student who enjoys math?
< R.Gardner >
[Not...really answering the question, but. Sure.]
< Octavius >
That's already a good sign, I should say. Imagine how far you might go with more education, then. And a mathematically-inclined mind tends to do well in Physics class too.
