Yeah, if I change my mind, I'll definitely stay. I know I'm not thrilled to be going back, but I want to know more. I want to help.

Norman seems like he wants to make a big breakfast too, so, it'll be a good start to the day.

I suppose a big breakfast at home is for the best. Ryslig doesn't exactly have any drive thrus we can visit along the way, now does it?

I think we should probably be thankful there aren't any drive thrus out here. I'm kind of worried about what that would even entail food wise.

So long as it'd be run by locals, there wouldn't be any human ingredients, I should think. But what the locals here would count as suitable junkfood is a whole other matter. Brown cheese on a bun, maybe? Pickled herring?

I hate that I'm actually kind of curious about that and want it now. Otto why. I blame you.

I'm afraid I can't make the hypothetical junkfood places appear, but we can always slap some brown cheese on a bun when you get home from the wastes.

[If Otto is in the house at the same time as Peter, he can likely hear the pooka's laughter carrying.]

I'll hold you to that, Otto. Might as well have something besides safety to look forward to when I get back home.

[Otto later in the day will hear a gentle knock on his door and there is a pooka with a plate with an omelet.]

[Otto answers the door about ten seconds later, dressed in the usual casual duds he wears around the house. (They're not really all that casual, but it's casual in his own eyes.) His gaze slips from Peter's face to the omelet.

Oh no, he was joking! ...He is kind of hungry, but mostly, he was joking.]

Oh... Thank you, Peter. You didn't have to go to that trouble, though.

[heyunderoos]

Well, I wanted to. [He says this simply enough, still smiling at Otto.] If you're not hungry, I can put it in the fridge later for you too, I did kind of just- decide to make it with no warning.

[sciencesquid]

No, no, I'll take it. Wouldn't want to ruin it by reheating it later.

[He reaches out with one hand to take the plate from Peter, smiling.]

I hope it wasn't too much effort.

I like cooking, so its not a big deal. [He's smiling back at Otto, whiskers wiggling happily with the older man accepting the meal.]

Sides, its kind of fun to do something like this on a whim, you know?

[He chuckles quietly, ducking his head for a moment.]

It is fun. I'll have to find a way to repay the favor when you least expect it. A cheeseburger, perhaps?

I'm surprised you aren't insisting on a salad. [It's half a joke given Otto will never let him live down Reira's pool party.]
